After graduating from the University of Madras, Mr. Mathew trained at esteemed teaching hospitals across the United Kingdom, including the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. and Tennent Institute in Glasgow. He served as a clinical lecturer and specialist physician at the University of Nottingham. In addition to his studies at Chesterfield NHS Foundation Trust, he specialised in the management of cataracts, glaucoma, and external eye diseases, he was appointed specialty doctor tutor.
Mr. Mathew has presented research papers to his colleagues and authored several journal articles that have undergone peer review. The British Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the United Kingdom Society of Cataract Surgeons are among the organisations to which he actively belongs to.
